Will the API change to V3?

Can someone in charge please notify us if the API will have also a big change to V3 or something like that?

A simply yes no will do if anyone knows.

The API is still on v2, but yes there will be a future v3 version. There are ongoing behind the scenes changes to improve API performance, but the current API contracts are tied to the v2 methods in the api docs.

Specific timelines will be communicated at https://github.com/trakt/trakt-api/discussions and there have already been some of those type of updates.
