Adding a paused/dropped feature

I’ve been using trakt for as long as i can remember and i don’t have any complaints, always been happy with it and has been very useful over the years.

I have been using some anilist recently though because i find it easier to track anime, and i discovered you can categorize/tag shows as paused or dropped and they show up in a separate list. I thought this feature was very neat and wold love if trakt would havve something similar!

In the absence of this feature, what I would advise is creating two lists manually (named “paused” and “dropped”) in which you can add the titles you drop or pause.

I guess that is an option as well, thanks for the suggestion!

It’s what I do.
I have a list called “Stopped Watching” and it’s easy to see any data from that and ideal if you decide to pick up a show again.
In the absence of knowledge how some things might work (until you figure it out) a list is an ideal way to capture anything.

Not to take away from the feature request but just as an FYI, which is also mentioned in the other thread @Harmon758 linked above, the closest feature we currently have to dropping is to Hide the show from your Progress (and additionally Calendar) which will essentially stop it from showing up in those sections but keep your history in tact (otherwise, not that I suggest doing this, but you could delete the history and leave it at that).

Look for the :no_entry_sign: icons in those Progress/Calendar sections. On iOS and Android you can hide from both at once via; long pressing the episode in Up Next, or the :no_entry_sign: in the Profile’s Progress tab, and then look for ‘Hide Show from Show Progress and Calendar’ options.
