Adding my account to my fire stick apps

Hello I’m trying to work out how I add my trakt account on to my fire sticks apps that I use.

Not sure if this applies to all apps but for example on Cinema HD go to Settings, Select Accounts, Add Trakt.
On screen you will get the name of a link to open on another device (mobile for example) and a code to input.
Do that and Cinema HD will be allowed to access your Trakt account.
