On the Mobile app looking at the Home (Desktop) screen I see the following sections (which differs slightly to the website):
Up Next
Upcoming Schedule (calendar)
Watchlist
Recently Watched
Social Activity
Recommendations
Is there anyway that these sections can be selectable/optional as they are on the website?
Or is the app supposed to reflect these choices? which in my case they do not.
The reason for my ask is that I have no interest whatsoever in the Social Activity section and would prefer not to see it.
And also, for me, I am not that interested to see Recently watched (which as can be seen are hidden on the website)
Yes I can ignore these sections of course but if trying to build the app to give the user the best viewing options then for me these two sections can be got rid of/hidden.
I’ve asked this before. That unfortunately currently only works for the website and isn’t able to work for the mobile app. The Home Screen currently can’t hide a lot of those options. Hopefully in the future they can change that. In the meantime you can edit your bottom icons and whatever you put as the first icon is what the trakt app will open up to at boot up of the app.
Sorry but an old git and not that tech savvy so I don’t fully understand when you said “In the meantime you can edit your bottom icons and whatever you put as the first icon is what the trakt app will open up to at boot up of the app.”
Yes, there is the option to edit the tabs in the settings within the app.
Just go to the “me” tab and click on the gear icon. There is an option to customize your bottom tabs there.
