Automatic Tracking | Paramount+ via Apple TV Channels

My subscription to Paramount+ is through Apple TV Channels, so I don’t have a Paramount+ account/password. When I try to connect Paramount+, It asks for a username/Password or TV provider. However, I don’t see Apple TV listed.

How do I connect the Automatic Tracking scrubber with this type of Paramount+ subscription? Thanks.

I notice there is a button on the login page to “Sign In with Partner”, that is what you are after.

i was able to add by clicking the paramont+ with apple + icon

If it works the same way as if your sub was via Amazon, then I’m guessing it should doing it automatically if you’re already scobbing from Amazon. Also like Amazon, Apple and Netflix tracks when a program is actually viewed. Some of the others like Hulu, Max and Disney+ mark the airdate rather than the date it was actually viewed. I don’t know if Pararmount+ also does this as a stand alone but when using via Amazon it tracks when it’s actually viewed.

It looks like you can create a Paramount+ account using your Apple TV subscription following the steps listed here: Paramount+ Help Center. Once you do that, you should be able to log into Paramount+ using that login in the scrobbler settings.

Paramount+, Max, Netflix, Prime, & Apple TV+ use the watched date/time. Hulu & Disney+ don’t provide us with the watched date/time, so we use the date of the sync for your watched history.

Unfortunately, Apple TV is not listed as a provider. :smiling_face_with_tear:

Hmm, strange. Might be worth reaching out to Paramount+ for assistance on that end then, since they have that whole page dedicated to signing in with an Apple TV subscription. Unfortunately, without having a separate login, the scrobbler won’t work for Paramount+ through Apple TV.

I wish Apple TV Channels worked like they do on Amazon.

Apple TV isn’t listed as a provider for me either.

I got it to work!

Go to the following link and follow the directions to connect with an Apple account. From there it lets you set up a username and password. Not sure why I didn’t see this the other day, but it worked today.

Thanks everyone!
