For now I have removed all sync services from my account. The feature is simply too buggy and while that can be expected because it is still in beta, the lack of response to questions on this forum leaves me wondering who I am testing this for.

I understand that Justin has more things to do, and I appreciate his efforts, but as Frank42 said I would expect there to be more people from Trakt involved in this. It should not be a one-man show.

I will try the sync service again when there are more resources available to fix the issues.

How do you connect Apple TV if it’s via an Amazon Subscription, or will the Prime connection also pick those watches up?

I assume this will all sync under the Prime connection, but I haven’t specifically tested this myself.

Valid comment, but I currently own this task and am the engineer working on it. I had a good chat with Younify yesterday about some of the outstanding bugs and we’re working to find fixes on their side and our side.

Later this week, I am hoping to get through some of the private support tickets related to these issues. This main thread is honestly hard to parse through and debug individual issues.

Hello,

I am new in this service and I have a problem syncing Disney+ in my account. When I login and press my profile, I am just stuck there like i am browsing the library. I am not getting any confirmation that the link has been completed. This is only a problem for Disney+.

Hi,

I’m in Denmark and setup AppleTV yesterday - so far it has added under half of what I have watched. And for each sync I get 1 paused and 1 skipped. No HW key, just Apples mfa by sms.

Can you see why it doesn’t work? The feature would be awesome if I could trust it.

I have several streaming services connected to sync automatically (Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max, Prime Video), everything looks good in the app, but only Prime Video seems to sync. The other services won’t sync, at all, nothing shows up on my profile.

Try to sync all data and see if anything shows up. That sometimes helps… or the missing show’s just don’t want to sync for whatever reason

I watched 8 episodes of Loot on AppleTV yesterday - only 1 was added to my watch history. The other 7 aren’t mentioned in the sync log at all?

I have an inquiry… Has anyone been able to scrobble anything from Fandango and/or YouTube since they have been added?

I was wondering the same thing. And what exactly would it sync from these services since they’re not regular streaming services. Maybe anytime you watch a movie you buy or rent, then it syncs it to your watch history

Both have episodes and movies available for purchase… Plus both have FREE episodes/movies available to watch.

And then I also was thinking that YouTube would be like Amazon Prime and scrobble everything connected to it… Which would include YouTube TV.

I specifically when looking for something free to watch to test it out, but I got nothing. YouTube scrobble even still says that the last sync has been queued as opposed to Fandango saying that it’s been synced, but nothing ever showing up. :woman_shrugging:

YouTube might still be queued because it’s different from the others… I do not see it as an app associated with Younify. :woman_shrugging:

I was asked to FIX my YouTube sign in and it is going through Younify even though the YouTube app is not available on the Younify app. :woman_shrugging:

Still got nothing syncing from either app… But at least my preferred name was corrected.

I just came here to find this open already. Why is there no replies or solutions, we pay for these features as VIP and there is just no feedback.

I watched a movie yesterday on Disney, it says it has synced but no data has been synced and it hasnt updated. These streaming syncs are one of the rerasons I went for VIP.

Please provide some feedback at least.

Is there a roadmap item for any other streaming services being added?
Like “Videoland” (it’s Dutch)
and “SkyShowtime” ?

There are visible in the selected streaming services you can favorite, in the settings part, where this sync option is located.

We partner with Younify for streaming sync, so really it’s dependent on new services they add. They tend to add larger, globally supported services so my guess is regional services are not currently on their roadmap.
