[BUG] Marking episode as watched multiple times

,

Short description of the issue

  • I marked an episode of Bob’s Burger as watched and it 1) erased my previous watched date, 2) will not allow me to add a second, historical date, and 3) is not showing up in my general history.

Detailed description with additional context about the workflow

  • I marked the episode as watched using the “just now” option and can see the app says I watched the episode today on the episode’s page, but it doesn’t show up in my full history on the home or profile tabs. As I said, I also cannot add or see historical watches, even on the episode page or when I click into the episode-specific history. I am using the new/current iOS app on an iPhone.

Yes, this is happening for me too. I added a manual play of a movie I had watched 5 times before, and it erased my previous play from 2022.

Once again Trakt is ruining my data. I’m so done with this site that just keeps breaking more and more for every time they force their new ugly design on us.

Explanation here: Disable Multiple Plays has been automatically ticked - Rewatching then removes any previous history - Trakt / Questions & Help - Trakt Forums

(So not even a bug, they just forcibly made us use that option without telling us, to ruin our data, because they hate their users.)

:face_exhaling: that is very frustrating and the fact it wasn’t messaged at all.

Took me a minute to fix my history since there’s also now no easy way to delete watch history in the app, but I guess this is resolved (for now?)
