This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. It’s a waste of my time. And why doesTrakt have anything to do with needing the format? Even if I do select format I can’t add to my library. I’m fed up. Help me with this please!
Are you using Plex Sync to add items? Or some GitHub script to automate? Either way I’d suspect you’ve hit the 1,000 limit on the OffLine library.
I totally agree with you. This metadata requirement is a loser for me. I now have to manually add shows/movies through a provider’s search feature and then add them to Trakt through the search feature.
I have not read one positive comment about the ‘improvement’. Hopefully they dump it soon.
This needs to be optional or removed. This is terrible UX to force upon users after all this time.
Reminder for all the Jellyfin users: GitHub - jellyfin/jellyfin-plugin-trakt
This official Jellyfin plugin can sync your Jellyfin library / collection to Trakt, both ways. And it can sync the metadata automatically as well.
I asked support to disable or give us an option.
Hi, thanks for reaching out!
This was a necessary change due to the changes we are making on the Library.
