Connection to Apple

Since logging in via e-mail won’t work starting 16th of September, I’m looking for an alternative. I tried connecting via Apple numerous times and it keeps saying I succeeded, but when I check my profile, I see the connection doesn’t stand.

When I connect my Google- mail, it does stay connected.

How can I fix this?

Do you mean username won’t work? Logging in using your email should still work going forward. Only logging in using your username shouldn’t work.

Not sure why your Apple ID log in won’t work, mines work fine. Have you tried to disconnect it and re-enable it from trakt settings from the website?

Hopefully there’s something trakt staff can help you with.

Which announcement did I miss?

Okay, I am the stupid one here. You won’t be able to log in using your username and I guess I jumped the gun thinking that using your email won’t work either.

Thinking about it logically, I should have known.

Yes I meant username. My bad!

I tried connecting through mobile, desktop,… nothing works. It has never said I was “connected” even though I get a notificiation that it worked.

Normally the “connect”-button should change to a “connected”-button where you can press it again to disconnect. It has never done that for me. It just keeps saying “connect”.

I was not trying to be sarcastic; I did not see any announcement at all (so also not about usernames).

Can somebody tell me where I can find this?
