Hello, I received a messages after just revisiting the site that it was deactivated. I was able to click the banner to reactivate it, which I was relieved about but just wondering why did it happen? It said I haven’t used it in awhile but I was just on the site and I use my account almost everyday, was this a glitch?

@guilhermedrsa @mposey519 @Yoly76 Welcome to the community. Was it maybe a registration email? What did the email say exactly?

No email, just noticed it wasn’t working with my apps and when I logged in the web page stated that my account was deactivated due to non-use. Easy fix to reactive, but odd.

No, there wasn’t an email. When I went to the website it said my account was deactivated since I haven’t used it in a while. I was able to reactivate it with the button that was available under the message, but this has never happened to me so I thought it was strange especially since I was just on the site the same day I received the message. I guess it was a glitch or something because it was working again after I clicked on the reactivate button.

This appears to be a bug and we are looking into it.

I keep getting the same message on the website. Even after clicking on reactive, I can use the side, a few days later, I get the same message.

Same issue here, used the website earlier this week but got deactivated again about an hour ago

Having the same issue starting this week. Emailed support but have not heard back. Is there any update on this bug?

I pushed a bug fix that should address getting deactivated so quickly after just reactivating.

Are you guys adding data to your account? Or are you just “read only” and only browsing around the website and apps?

Thanks Justin. I am using a 3rd party app so I can see why my account would be deemed inactive after a period of time.

Yeah, makes sense. If you’re not adding any data, we aren’t considering your account active. I recommend using some of the core Trakt features like adding what you’re watching, etc.
