Discovering Official Lists feels clunky

I noticed the Website changelog contains the following statement: Official lists are viewable on the website and can be commented on.

Best I can see these lists are imports of movie collections from TMDB right? If so I think there’s a lot of power in having that information easily surfaced from the sea of Personal Lists out there.

Unless I’m missing something obvious, and that may well be the case, then the only way I could find of consistenly discovering these is as follows:

  • Navigate to a movie I know is in a Collection
  • Click the lists option to filter lists with that movie in
  • Swap the GUI toggle to official lists

It is feasible to have “Official” as a checkbox in Advanced Filters when searching lists to make them more top down discoverable?
Since currently I don’t think I’ve seen an official list pop up early for me when searching lists

All good ideas and I’ll have some of these updates out soon, hopefully this week.

I thought in the past the official list was always the top one. It would be great if that got back again now that it’s working !

First official and then any personal lists.

List types added to the advanced list search options. The lists are all re-indexing for the next couple hours, but here’s where you can see all official lists for example.

Official list shows up first on the movie summary page if it belongs to one. Example:
