Could you add a checkbox to exclude items on a personal list for the rec’s?
Context: I completely f*cked up. They way I used lists in the past was to add items I’d like to watch to my watchlist ánd to a personal list based on genre. My watchlist got so extremely cluttered I had to do something about it. I wanted to start using the watchlist for actual shows or movies I want to watch on short term notice, not the general ‘want to watch at some point in time’ that I’d been using it for.
I was under the false impression that listed items, be it watch- or personal, would be excluded from the recommendations. That clearly is wrong, hahah! I deleted my watchlist…
Yeah. Regardless of my mistake, I think it’d be a good function to have.

Obviously that being a bit more effort than ticking a box, but I imagine the ideal solution would be to offer specific lists to hide from your recommendations (which is also probably a little less likely in the short term than the alternative single tick box, but still).
