Would it be possible to offer ability to generate trakt lists saved filters? Similar to listrr.pro

i want this for years… i actually found a similar site , but i forgot the url :frowning: cant really log in on that one.

I would hate that idea… unless they’re forced to be private :laughing: At least be somewhat creative with your lists. If you’re just gonna auto-import everything with a certain filter… everyone can do that manually, lol. (unless you’re not a VIP maybe but yeah…)

Really sorry to necro this thread. But yeah as paying members this is something basic we should have. mdblist.com does this but it isn’t perfect. This needs to be done.

I use an app which has an addon for trakt lists support. So rather than searching and typing out a movie name from my list manually every time (mind you this is on a firestick lol) it would be tons more efficient to simply browse my list (which was created from my search filter) within the app choos…

Saved filters are available in the API for apps to use. The big advantage is the data is dynamic, rather than being copied into a static list. It also eliminates duplicate data. Trakt API · Apiary A place where APIs are kept.

You are correct, filtering out watched movies isn’t currently supported. I will look into saving that as part of the saved filter. That is still a better approach instead of copying thousands of items into a list, especially since we have the APIs available for apps to use.
