One main feature which I really miss is the lack of german/european airtimes.
I know that this is a big wish and there are even more countries who want their airtimes as well.
Most air times in the EU are the same for every country. No matter if this a streaming service like Netflix, Sky, Disney and Amazon or if its regular satellite TV.
I´m not a developer but for me Trakt „just" have to make a deal with the owners of https://www.fernsehserien.de - they already got the airtimes.
Just need to make a database export to your service and you got another big feature for the majority of the EU citizens.
Maybe you’ll think about it
To contribute my share to your service i would do the translation for the internationalization (german)
For us in Germany it would be a nice addition, but if it is on regular satellite TV it would not be working well because of different starting times (like 20:15 CET in Germany oder 20:35 CET in the Netherlands). The programming will be different as well if a series in Germany would be aired on Monday but on Tuesday in Spain, Wednesday in Belgium or Thursday in Poland.
Yes, indeed. I’m not sure if there is any service like “fernsehserien.de” in Spain or France where to get the air times. But honestly it’s not our problem
The german market is one of - or even the biggest non english speaking market in TV series and movies in the world. That’s why nearly any movie/series got a translation in german. So for me it seems to be obvious that trakt needs to implement a german translation and adding the necessary air times.
Especially because that they don’t need to take care of those air times - just sync them from other websites.
And as I said - I’ll contribute to any translation that needed within trakt - starting with the tremendous settings page for the users. And I’m pretty sure that other german native speakers (like you e.g. ) will help, too.
