Last time I used Trakt, there was a slider bar to scroll to an episode in the specific season. Then you would click on that episode and it would bring up the specific episode selected
Today, there is a season selector bar (nice), with an arrow pointing to the right, and no slider bar. On my screen, only E1 to E7 are displayed horizontally. I want to access a later episode. Clicking the right arrow brings up a season dialog window with a vertical selection bar (nice). When I scroll down to the episode I want to access in detail, E18 in this case, there is NO URL available for the episode specifically, but only a link to the general title itself.
It does also let me select the checkmark that I watched the episode. But I don’t see any way to access E18 in detail.

Came to post about this as well.. scroll bar no longer exists on the web site on a PC.
For the OP, I did see that some seasons allow you to hit the > next to a season and see episodes appear on a right sidebar.. but some seasons aren’t having this work so it can’t be the only option.
I see what you are saying. That’s exactly how it worked for me yesterday. Today, they added the “season” button and column, like you put in your picture, and mine doesn’t have it any more. I use Brave browser, in case that’s the issue. Ironically, tonight, hours later, they’ve even removed the blue season button for some reason and changed it again with a flat “Season 1” text, but still no slider underneath (for me, at least).
Thanks for the response. Glad it works for you. Anyone else seeing the same thing?
you have to go to the series page for those buttons to appear. if you access the episode directly from a watchlist or continue watching then it will be as your picture. i noticed that when trying to see what you saw
Interesting. Thanks for all the responses. They helped. Short version, things work differntly on different browsers. I compared 4:
Firefox: otakunet21 is wrong about where you access it from, but right about the scrollbar. Looks great and works EASILY on Firefox, just like it used to on Chrome/Brave until the day before I initially posted. Also, Firefox shows the flat “Season 8 >” on “The Rookie”.
Chrome/Brave/Edge: NO scrollbar on the main page or on “The Rookie” anywhere. The only other difference between the three browsers in my current test is that Brave/Edge show the flat “Season 8 >” header on “The Rookie”, but Chrome shows the “Season” with “8” in a radio vertical list.
Not a fan of the new interface at all, but have been trying to make a go of it. NOTHING is more frustration than daily changes in the interface, and a different dynamic based on browser. Please fix in Brave (and others).
i just checked both firefox and chrome and both show the same for the rookie, like i said it just depends on how you access the show page. If i click on the next rookie episode in my up next list i don’t get the season drop down but when i click on the title for the rookie then i can see the drop down. its the same in both browsers
New change for me today. When you hover over the thing you want to “scroll”, you can use the left/right arrows to make it move accordingly. That didn’t happen yesterday. Still no scrollbar.
Really annoying that things change almost daily. This isn’t a “release” with well documented features. It went from rock-solid product to daily alpha releases and changes. Highly disappointing.
Today’s fun is a constant “Trakt service unreachable.” Not sure if it’s another post yet, but more dysfunction with Trakt.
