Major updates needed for Trakt Lite

Detailed description with additional context about the workflow

  • I can’t find a way to go back to Trakt Classic. If we can only use lite now, it needs a lot more work.

  • Episodes of a shows have the year listed at the top, but not the release day/date or time? Please add that.

  • When we are on the page of a specific episode, please add forward and back arrows so we can easily go to the next or previous episode.

  • I preferred the scrolling list of episodes that scrolled left and right instead of clicking the arrow to open a list on the side of the screen. It’s too tedious to search and switch episodes in the list now. The only problem with the sideways scrolling list was that the scroll bar kept hiding itself unless you moused over it in just the right spot. Please bring back the sideways scrolling list and make the scroll bar always visible. It would be a bonus if you could make it scroll sideways with the mouse wheel if the mouse pointer is hovering over the list.

  • Please add the option to make episodes go dim if they are marked as watched. I miss that feature and the little check marks are hard to see quickly.

trakt lite is now default for free users. only VIP users have access to v2 website of Trakt.

click on the i next to the information shown

then you’ll see the full release date and more information

this is in the works already

if you go to an episode page the horizontal scroll is still there, you can see it below the episodes in my screenshot. as far as the scrolling with the mouse, hold down shift and then use the wheel, its the best way for now with whats implemented

+1 for this request, the check mark is harder to see on desktop but its not too bad on mobile/app

Thank you for the helpful information. I appreciate the help.

For me, on Chrome with Windows 11, the scrolling option isn’t available any longer. Even the thin, gray scroll bar isn’t there under episodes.

i use firefox so maybe thats why. seems like edge and chrome both dont have the scrollbar since theyre both chromium. firefox is its own thing

Safari also doesn’t have it. Most people don’t have any option to scroll, they just need to fix it.

they added a vertical option that people have been asking for. its not a great implementation on desktop but its just the first iteration of it. since they introduced that vertical scroll they removed the horizontal on desktop which makes sense since people begged to have vertical. that is the fix really
