I can’t find the buttons shown in this post. Has it changed?
They’re still working on migrating features over to the new v3 experience. They’ve still got a ways to go, but they are working on it.
The rewatch feature is currently being implemented and is in preview. As a VIP, on desktop if you scroll to the very bottom of the page and click the small Trakt logo icon in the bottom center, or head to settings > preview you can toggle on the Rewatch feature.
Once that’s on, head to any shows’ main page and click the 3 dot menu next to the track/watchlist/trailer buttons. The menu drawer that opens should now have a “start rewatching” button.
Note: This only works on desktop or mobile browsers right now. The mobile app doesn’t have this (at least not on Android at the time of my posting this). Once you activate the rewatch, I think you can start tracking episode watches normally on the mobile app, but I haven’t tested this so don’t quote me on that…
