How does filter/search Watchlist by notes work?

I have items in my Watchlist with private notes, but when i choose the filter option to hide No Notes they don’t show up - nor when i use the Filter by Title or Notes feature

Perhaps i’m using it incorrectly?

Are those notes within the list?
That filter is for notes within the list, that you can add clicking on this:

[PumpsPivotsFires (GC)]
