When I click on the $5 monthly link it opens up the annual payment check out. Is anyone else experiencing this?

If you are talking about the website, the monthly option is the $6 one.
The $5 a month is the yearly option. That is explained under the button to upgrade:
The $6 option isn’t even selectable either. This was reported by other users. But currently the only way to subscribe to the monthly option is only through the App Store. Via the website it is a forced yearly subscription.
I’m unable to reproduce this, but have seen it reported by others. Are you able to share a screenrecording of what happens when you try to select the $6 monthly plan? Does it happen if you use a different web browser?
so I tested it just now on my laptop and it worked fine.
The issue is only with iOS and iPad OS, in Safari and Chrome (didn’t test Firefox). In portrait and landscape. It’s not a layering issue, because when clicking on the $6 option, the option magnifies / zooms reflecting that the correct box is activated.
I looked at the HTML code and there doesn’t seem to be anything that stands out which would be the culprit. But it doesn’t make sense that it would be the form handler / server-side and browser specific. — So it’s probably client-side / JS related, as there are JS event handlers on those elements.
The JS code is too messy / bloated to pinpoint the issue at the moment. But if the team can’t figure out the issue, feel free to tap me and I’ll look deeper.

Like you said, I think it might be related to tapping on the items using a mobile browser. Clicking using a mouse seems to not have the same problem. I am going to look into this more and figure out a fix.
