I don’t understand how a show or movie can have a future release date, still be in post production, and be on 0 streaming services, yet still have 84 plays!! I thought ‘post production’ means it’s still being tweaked before it gets released and ‘0 streaming services’ means it’s not available on any service for streaming/viewing. I’m almost positive if I’m logged onto Trakt, let’s say on Jan 15, 2022 and a movie release date is March 15, 2022, the release date has not gotten here yet! Is this not right? What am I missing?
Some people mark stuff as watched that they haven’t seen yet. It’s possible some people have advanced screeners or were part of a test screening audience or something like that, but for the most part it’s just people that just marked the wrong thing as watched.
Thanks for replying, There’s an awful lot of folks that seem to mark the wrong shows as watched, if that is what’s happening.
Very strange to me. I wonder if there is a hierarchy system within Trakt that calculates a member’s standing for movie/show reviews or most watched?
Sometimes the service data is incorrect. I watched Three Thousand Years of Longing in an independent theater last weekend — not some kind of preview or reviewer access — and I got a warning that it wasn’t marked as released.
