What is IFTTT?

IFTTT, which is short for If This Then That, is the easiest way to do more with hundreds of the apps and devices you love, including Trakt, Twitter, Dropbox, Evernote, and Google Assistant.

IFTTT calls these services. They help you connect your services together in remarkable new ways with Applets. Applets are like mini, active apps you can create — things your Trakt account can’t do on its own.

What can I do?

Here are some of the fun applets you can use right now. Make sure to check the Trakt IFTTT page since they’ll be adding new ones too!

Note: since these are officially published applets, you can enable as many as you want, even with a free IFTTT account.

There are also more advanced triggers, queries, and actions that can be used to create custom recipes on IFTTT. More of these will be added soon too.

How do I connect Trakt and IFTTT?

Head over to the IFTTT Trakt page and click the Connect button.

After signing into your IFTTT account, it will redirect to Trakt and ask your permission to connect Trakt and IFTTT.

That’s it! You’re connected and can start using all the IFTTT applets and Trakt integrations.
