Is API down again?

Today neither on website nor by using Plex scrobbler or Jellyfin plugin marking episodes as watched works.

Watched episode on Plex - not marked. Watched another on Jellyfin - not marked. Both worked few hours ago.

Opened episode on website and it showed 2 plays (from years ago). Tried to add another one, got a message it was added, but number increased up to 4 (should’ve been 3). Checked my watch history, but it’s not there. Opened episode again - back to 2 plays…

Just noticed, that all watched episodes were posted to my connected Mastodon account, so it seems there’s something wrong only with marking as watched

Oh, it also doesn’t show the red “currently playing” bar on my profile

There seems to be some issue with the server right now. The team will investigate.

I am also manually adding watched episodes, but it is not showing in the watched history nor updating the watch progress. But it still shows as watched if I go look at individual episodes.

Yep I’m seeing that too. Hopefully the team can resolve it soon.

It seems starting to update my history right now.

One new thing just came to light, I also created a new list and it is now not showing up when I went to add movies in that list. If I go in lists options than I can see it there, but not while adding new movies or shows in the list.

Things should be working correctly now.

Something’s still wrong. Now episodes are showing in “Recently watched”, but none of them have any plays. Can’t remove wrongly marked play. When tapped on the icon, it just adds another invisible play with current time

I’m not seeing any issues on my end. Unless I’m missing something.

Are you using the website or app? If website, reset your browser data and it should fix that.

That helped.

I’m a bit concerned though. IIRC it’s the second time in a quite short period of time, when I have to do this. Don’t remember I had to do this in the past 6 years before. Could there be a bigger issue?

It is an issue with your browser not saving the local data correctly or getting corrupted. It could be from a browser plugin, ad blocker, etc. The data will generally fix itself, the button just forces it to happen.

Both cases were on a web browser and both on Chrome. Just don’t recall if prevous time was on Windows desktop or on Android mobile. This time it was Android
