FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF MONTHS, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DOWNLOAD TRAKT APP or APK TO MY NVIDIA SHIELD WHICH I BELIEVE IS AN (android) DEVICE PLATFORM BUT UNFORTUNATELY I GUESS ITS THE DUMB GOOGLE PLAY STORE GIVING US A HARD TIME. I EVEN DISABLED MY VPN, ETC AND AND STILL NOTHING. ANY IDEAS ON HOW TOO ?

The Trakt app doesn’t work on Android TV, it’s for Android mobile OS only as far as I’m aware

In order to install the Trakt TV app on a Shield, you can
1 Obtain it from a site other than Google Play - I suggest Aptoid
to do this, either install Aptoid on your Shield, and find and
download and install the Trakt app on your Shield , or download it on your
PC from Aptoid and side-load it to your Shield.
2 Note that the Trakt app is very unweildy on the Andoid TV inteface that the
Shield has, so it’s much easier to navigate on a phone.
But as long as you’re able to log in to your Trakt account from your Shield you’ve
accomplished the most important thing.
3 Now install the app on your phone, where the interface is designed to work,
and here you can add the Streaming services “Connect your Services” (Netflix, Prime, etc.)
quite easily.
For some reason the Track web interface on a PC doesn’t very easily let you "Connect Your
Services, " that 's why I recommend using your phone
Your phone’s Trakt app will synchronize all its settings and streaming
services with your Shield’s Trakt app as long as they’re both logged on to the same account.
Note: If all you really needed is to track Netflix and Prime, you don’t even need the
Trakt app on your Shield :
If you’ve already set it up on your phone to track Netflix and Prime, it’ll track
what ever you’re watching on these providers, even if you’re watching on
your Shield.
I have an Nvidia Shield & an Amazon Fire Cube in which I couldn’t even download TRAKT into them directly. It sure works with any of the
OMEGA KODI 21.1 app on any platform. Windows, Android, IOS etc you name it.
You don’t really need to download TRAKT into Android or any or any other platform directly, simply it comes integrated into the Kodi version and nothing will interfere with your streaming. One thing keep KODI updated. Remember there are other apps available inside the KODI platform in which you need to either support the developers for pennys every 6 months or either yearly for a (small fee), and I mean (penny’s).
The Developers who work so hard to keep up with KODI are the ones that does the (WIZARDS) and also the (BUILDS) one other thing is that this (will also help yourself while streaming without interruptions and no buffering. Unlimited Cloud

“Hey” but nothing like this wonderful and great app called (TRAKT), I have traveled any where which keeps all my library of videos in place when I need it.
