"Last 1 year" filter option gone?

In the movie and shows section, there used to be a “Last 1 year” time period option under “Watched”.

It was one of my most used filter options. Now we only have the last 1/7/30 days left.
Which all are pretty useless to me, as I don’t really care about the very latest trends and I certainly don’t need three options for such a short time frame, while the interesting option was taken away.

I’m not very fond of Trakt adding rather pointless new gimmicks while taking away functions that I consider essential. Please give me the 1 year option back.

With the new stats calculations we’re doing, the yearly had to be removed for performance reasons unfortunately.

What are these new stat calculations and what is their benefit?

I’m a reasonable person, if the value of these stats is greater - okay.
But if it’s just something like these monthly recaps of what we’ve watched …

The benefit is the stats will be truly accurate. In the past, some parts were estimated or didn’t properly take into account the variations when items were unwatched by people.

I see, thanks for the answer.

Personally I’d rate the value of getting an overview of the greatest content in the past 12 months higher than seeing the trends of the past 24 hours. After all each streamer already shows what is currently trending.
But I guess that’s just me.
