I’ve noticed topics are being closed and marked as “Solved” but apparently not by the original poster (has happened to me too).
While the topic may have been answered, the OPs aren’t always on here every few days. Closing the topic as solved automatically closes the topic however in 2 days.
Some of this closing seems to be over-enthusiastic and moderating done by non-staff.
IMHO the closing of a topic and marking as solved should only be able to be done by an OP accepting something as a solution or by a staff member a minimum of a week after proposing a solution with no follow-up response by the OP.
Oftentimes the proposed solution doesn’t work. When the person returns to look for an answer they can’t even respond in their own topic.
