I can see those episodes in your history, so it’s probably a cache issue. Please, try to reset your browser data in your settings:
After that, check if it fixed the issue.
Hi,
It almost 6h but the status still show please wait for the caching to fully complete, is that normal?
Hmm, no, it should be quick. Did you try to refresh the page and try to reset the data again?
Still same, wait for so long and still ‘Please wait for the caching…’
Please check your browser console and paste any red error messages you see. The sync should only take a few seconds and what you’re describing indicates there is a client side error in your browser.
Have you tried a private window or disabling any extensions? Could be something breaking the Trakt website.
This is result using Edge private mode:

i also have this issue. the console is currently showing an error:
i assume its this which is causing the watched history to load on episodes and stuff.
also doesnt appear to be browser related as i use Trakt on chrome and firefox and also on my phone browser and all 3 have the same issue
This appears to be a cached related bug with your history data. Please go to https://trakt.tv/settings/advanced and clicking this button.
ive done that, it has fixed it on some pages but not others
as an example:
so an episode i have watched this morning shows in my watched history, but doesn’t show as watched on my dashboard page or on the episode page.
Reset progress data is complete, but Reset data still stuck at “Please wait for the caching to fully complete” even almost 10h waiting.
Refresh the page. Then try to click both buttons again. I have so much data mine will get stuck too. I have 154,193 episodes and 3,589 movies so sometimes the “reset” gets lost and just needs a new start. You don’t need to sit there waiting for 15 hours, LOL.
I just click the button, went to sleep and keep my PC turn on. ANd sadly after wake up still not complete, really frustrating.
I will take another look into this next week. There is no need to wait hours or overnight for the data to cache, it should only take seconds. The issue is the 500 error as mentioned in your browser console.
This isn’t productive. When it hangs like this there is an error in the backend so you are wasting your time waiting. Refresh the page, or close it all completely and then restart the browser with a fresh version of Trakt loaded.
How large is your data set? I have a feeling it could be the size of (amount of) data you are processing like in my case.
I did it on purpose because i want to confirm and i don’t want getting blame by other people.
This is my stat:
@uniquerelease I pushed a potential fix for this issue. Please sign out of Trakt, clear the Trakt web browser cookies, and sign back in.
@justin Result for 2 hour, still same.
I pushed another potential fix.
