I had a long day at work… When I finally get off and check my latest Sync… It shows a lot of skips.
It was not showing any skips before, may I please get some help understanding what is going on.

For now, this is information we can use internally to help investigate any data syncing issues.
Were there specific episodes or movies that should have synced over?
There’s always something that is missing for whatever reason, but they’ll be added eventually… Either in a later sync, or manually. I’m patient about it for the most part.
I was just confused because the auto sync didn’t find anything new but all those skips were showing. I never saw any skips after a syncing before
I tried to click on the link of the skipped episodes, it just reverts back to the scrobbler page. Is there a way to view which eps were skipped?
@FerdiZ I did not even think to mention that . The skips are just there and there is no way of knowing what is actually being skipped unless you know what is missing from your Trakt history.
I just looked through my whole history and am seeing a lot of skips… Are they being skipped because the episodes/movies cannot be found? Or are they being skipped because the episodes/movies have already been watched before?
Well, honestly: I am running a few experiments with the scrobbler. So I know exactly what I’ve been watching since I first synced the services. I really don’t know what the skipped eps could be, which is why I want a view.
I hope the latter, that would explain a few of my skips. Albeit very, very delayed.
To tell the truth, I don’t always look at the title of I’m watching every evening/weekend. Especially when Auto play is being used… I just continue to watch if it’s interesting and check the titles later.
I mainly focus on the shows I specifically search out for whatever reason to see if they are updated in Trakt. Been lazy about the history lookup since the sync came into play though.
Same here.
But, it’s good to finally see some progress on this topic
P.S. Sad to see that the main thread (Automatically sync your streaming services!) seems to be locked without further notice.
I sad that as well, that thread was an easy way to help keep track of everything going on with the Automatic Sync
Soooooooooooooooooooooo. @justin scrobbler seem to be your baby. This thread seems to have died down. Will we be able to view the skipped episodes anytime soon? I can create a new thread if needed.
Also, not sure why the solution has been marked as a solution. Hah.
I started going through Disney+ Plus yesterday to see what has and has not been captured… Currently finding a lot of SHORTS/Movies and adding them to my list.
I also asked about the number of skips being shown on the sync when it wasn’t before.
I think there may always be missing data when syncing… Even when there becomes less missing after a sync.
Until then, I am unsure what I can do to help with the missing sync data
I do know I cannot force a sync before work for last night’s episodes due to an error message… But it was mainly an episode catch up night, so it should not be too hard to remember what was watched
Yeah I’ve been getting the error message aswell when I want to manually sync it.
FYI: I read in another topic Justin added a view for skipped episodes. So there you have it. I’m satisfied for now.
I am also glad about being able to view skipped episodes… Just confused as why some of them have already been marked as watched
I thought watched episodes were not going to be included
Yup, if you go to this topic there’s some more info about those skips, and actually they recently added more information to them - or at least made it available to the users
