I also just missed a milestone.
Could be fun and not that hard to implement I think if I could look up what my episode 10.000 was (and whatever number else).

I was thinking the same thing as I was passing my milestone, which is why I have recorded the name of the show, the season, the episode, and the date and time on which I did pass this.

I remember being in that neighbourhood thinking about how long it would take to make that 10,000 episode mark. I’m a big sucker for stats and numbers.

I’m at 33839 over 967 shows. lol
I joined trakt 9 years ago now, however I populated it with all shows I knew I had watched fully up until that point (11100 episodes).
The numbers do rack up pretty fast though. I’ve had years where I’ve watched 1850 episodes in the year, and others where it’s been 3750.

They are some dope stats man. The most I watched in a year is like 2100 back in like 2019. Dunno if I’ll reach those heights again.

Ironically that was the year II only watched 1850. Was travelling a lot for work, so wasn’t watch as much.

i started removing the shows i quit instead of leaving those episodes seen; and large eps shows like greys anatomy. thre was a time where that number made me happy, now it gets me depressed lol

It was a lot higher at one point, well over 50k, but like you mentioned above, i have started removing older plays of some long running shows
picture-in-picture viewing in my browser and streaming services are a fatal combination for me, lol

That somehow seems eerily similar to my tv/episode watching pattern.
Long way maybe. You won’t believe how fast it takes to double that.
