When viewing from Android on the Chrome browser, on a TV Show page it is not clear how to view the list of all episodes.
Specifically, the way to do it is to tap an unlabeled and undifferentiated icon on the same row as the text “Up Next”. See blue circle on attached screenshot.
I puzzled over this for like 3 minutes, tapping other things that were wrong, until I found it. So not the good kind of exploration and journey for UX discovery, since it only applies to this one thing.
I use the web version almost exclusively for reasons I won’t mention here (other than the native apps are just severely lacking features that the website offers)…so with that being said…I am a Web Designer & Developer and this is a very common functionality on the much “smaller” mobile devices.
If you view the website on larger screens (the larger phones these days) like tablets will still show the label(s). It also depends on the screen resolution. Like I said above, it’s a common functionality when developing on a single code base for all platforms (which is what the website does). There are specific sizes the media queries target to make the smaller screens a more user friendly interface.
That’s all probably a little more information than what you were asking for. I think it also takes an assumption that if you are using the website on mobile, that you have also used the website on a desktop/laptop so you might already know that the labels are removed on smaller screens and already know that your little blue circle means “All Episodes”.
