If you want to convert your Json files to CVS you can drop it into claude code and it should be able to convert it for you.
Itās also easy to convert if you use Excel Power Query.
Thereās no way to see Guest Stars in things. That seems like a pretty big missing feature. Honestly all the missing features on this godawful update just makes the team look incompetent.

you can see guest stars in the iOS app at least in each episode, or itās also on the web version but itās only at the series level for now
The calendar doesnāt work the way I used it in V2 ā thereās no way to use it monthly, and dropped/hidden items are showing up.

Have they removed the option to see the full list of everything youāve ever watched? I donāt mean āHistoryā (although it would also be nice to have that back in a usable format). I mean the master list that you could sort/filter any way you liked. So for example, I could see a list of every movie Iāve ever rated a 10, or every movie Iāve seen from the 50s.
I canāt tell whether this feature is gone or whether itās just well-hidden in the new interface. (Also, this is my first time on the forums, and for the life of me I canāt figure out how to create a new topic.)

The New UI seems to lack quite a few basic features from the old experience:
- Is there a way to scroll the horizontal lists? Like all of them? I see that thereās quite a few of them automatically adapted for the screen size (like āHomeā page), but not all of them are. See for example the actor page Trakt Web: Track Your Shows & Movies or Show page https://app.trakt.tv/shows/the-pitt?season=1 - I donāt see a way for me to scroll the lists on my Mac. This seems to be only usable with a touch screen mobile device.
- At the same time, If I look at the specific Movie or Episode, I should be able to manage the āviewsā. I sometimes watch things again, and may want to check if the history is correct. This seems to be missing from the new experience entirely except for adding a new view. I can only add 1, or remove all my āviewsā of specific content.
- The History page forces me into āCalendarā style view, while the old experience allowed me to just show a list of views without any separation - for my watching experience this usually makes more sense, as I rarely watch something consistently and may want to check up on a thing a few months later or even a year - in new experience this is entirely unavailable basically. (I need either a Episode/Movie style option for checking my history or just the full unfiltered page of History back for Web experience to be usable again).

to scroll sideways use shift plus your scroll wheel on your mouse for now. i know itās not what we want but itās a workaround for now

I canāt add/remove titles from a list while within a list. I have to leave the list and go to the title page to manage the lists it is on. And the list sidebar does not correctly update when I tag/untag the list a title is on. For example, if Iām in list A and want to move a title to list B, I canāt do it from list A. I have to go to the title page, click to edit the list, and check/uncheck the desired lists. But the side panel does not update when I do this, so the only way to confirm the title is on the list I want is to go to each list and confirm its presence on that list.
Option to not fade watched titles when viewing lists. I do like to fade watched titles sometimes, but itās not my default viewing preference.
Option to use single tiles instead of double tiles for list. The double -tile view is too cluttered and it makes it harder for me to scan the list.

Allow for a non-grouped history view and allow for far more than a tiny 5-day viewing window. Takes forever to click through and see what I watched a few months ago.
Make collections prominent again instead of pushed down to the bottom. It was very useful being able to navigate to the next title in a series from the header. In almost exactly the same vein, make it possible to jump from one season of a show to the next season without having to navigate to the parent page for that show.
Use a 10 star rating system instead of 5 star. Also Iām confused. It seems sometimes I can use a half-star in the 5-star system and at other times I canāt use a half-star. With the absence of half star, the 5 star rating is too coarse. Thereās a huge difference between a 3/5 (60%) and 4/5 (80%) We need 3.5/5 to get a 70%, or better yet just go back to the 10 star system.
The hide spoilers setting shouldnāt hide the basic title descriptions.
The ability to filter/sort entire viewing history. I can no longer find my top rated movies.
View guest stars for tv episodes.
Bring back the progress page. I used that a lot.
I much much prefer the layout of V2. Well, I much much prefer V2. That is an understatement. I love V2. I hate V3.

Just to add my two cents, I was a paying VIP customer, but the force to the v3 UI has made me cancel my subscription and seek competitors to use instead of Trakt. I will miss the once-great Trakt, but it clearly is no longer a service that wants to listen to its users and is not something I can recommend to friends and family anymore either.

On the web version, besides being only at the series level, guests stars are mixed up with regular actors. Like that itās pretty useless.

The feature I really need in the new Trakt is full control over personal list editing ā especially the ability to manually rank, reorder, and organize items (e.g., a Top 25 TV shows list in a precise order).

This matters a lot to my experience because creating and sharing ranked lists is one of the main reasons I use Trakt. It allows me to track my preferences, compare shows meaningfully, and easily share my recommendations with friends or colleagues. Without proper ordering and editing tools, lists lose their purpose and become much less useful.

I would love to see this feature restored with intuitive controls, similar to before ā simple drag-and-drop reordering, clear ranking positions (1, 2, 3, etc.), and flexible editing options directly within the app. Ideally, this would be combined with the new design, so we keep the improved look while bringing back the powerful customization that made Trakt stand out.

What I canāt find in the new site is the progress of my shows. I have dropped some shows over the years and used trakt to see where I left off to continue. With the new site I canāt find it. Is it a feature thatās missing or is it hidden somewhere?

- I use Trakt to discover new shows and movies that are good.
- Iād honestly just like to see the old interface brought back entirely. I loved it. It was a really great interface, and it was inspired. This new oneā¦ itās genuinely bad in every way I can think of. On desktop, it feels like a phone app that barely functions. Thatās because itās a phone app that barely functions.

Itās under the Continue Watching section so, theyāve renamed it to something else which makes it difficult to find.

Please can you add the average rating to the overview in discover for each movie/show. With the old UI I used to be able to easily see if the user ratings are low for something, but now I am forced to click on the movie or show to be able to actually see if it has good ratings or not.

Iām really dissapointed in Trakt. When I saw for the first time the V3, I immediately switched back to V2, because it was absolutely horrendous and now itās still the same. Everything is so messy and not organised.
- I want to see clearly my history
- I want to see the list of episodes of the season clearly and their ratings
This is just not possible in the confusing left to right format. Thats like if you would place for example planks of wood next to each other by the short side, then the long side. Everyone would look at you, if youāre not mentally ill, because it is unefficient and problematic.
For example I canāt even see a full list of episodes now on web. I can just see the first 7 and then there is missing the scroll option. This is probably a bug, which will be fixed, hopefully, but still I would be able to see only a few episodes and try to navigate in it is awful.
Iām closing my Traktv tabs, because they became useless. Please be more mature, when making a change and actually improve things, which need to be or may be improved by the opinion of your users. Because people are usually open for a change, if itās an improvement and not destruction.
