Notifications behaviour

Hi all,

I recently started using Trakt and I love many things about it and about its app, but there’s something with the app notification that I wish worked a bit differenty.
With other similar apps (also Trakt-based, like Showly), I get a notification for new releases like it happens with Trakt, BUT if my phone is off I’d get the notification when I turn it on.
With the Trakt app, however, if my phone is off at the time of the broadcast I’ll never get the notification the next time I use my phone.
Now, since I watch many american series, but I’m based in Europe, often shows are broadcasted while here it’s night and my phone is off, so it would be great if notifications were to be delayed to the moment I turn my phone back on in the morning.
The Trakt app is perfect for all of my needs but this one, and because of this I often missed the release of new episodes ending up accumulating a bit of backlog in the following days, which is a bit annoying and could be prevented with just this little change in the behaviour of notifications.

I don’t know if I’m the only one with this issue, but I guess it would be a relatively easy fix so I thought I’d try and request it.

On my Trakt App any new episodes of shows you have already started appear in your “Up Next - Continue Watching” section, regardless of a missed notification.

Same on mine, but that means I have to go check out myself if new episodes have been released. The useful thing about notifications is that I don’t have to think about them, whenever there’s a new episode I just get one.

I know it’s really a little thing, but the way notifications behave right now it’s basically useless for me, and it would be nice to avoid missing notifications.
