How about Push Notifications for new episode releases of your up next list?
That would be nice. Push through to AppleWatch as well (like Simkl).
Like the idea but can’t you do this with ical feeds already?
You could use iCal but that is going through your email. (As far as I know)
I don’t like my E-Mail being „spammed“…
That’s why I’d rather have a push notification through the app itself, cherry on top would be push through to applewatch. Simkl already does that and it’s notifying you 5 min before the episodes goes on air. That’s really a neat feature to have on your wrist … or at least in the app.

Actually iCal feeds go through a calendar app like google calendar and then you could have the app on your phone and the notifications from your phone should pull up on your watch.

Go to Trakt Forums then just scroll to “Mobile calendar and IFTTT RSS feeds.” to find what you are looking for.
you can even set a custom early alarm.
You are not alone in that. I am strict with my email as well.
It would be simpler for sure.

We plan to add push notifications to the official app. This won’t be a launch feature, but we plan to add several types of notifications in the app and we’ll be looking into calendar notifications.
