For the last 7-10 days I’ve been having sporadic issues with the bar not showing up for what I’m watching. Once the bar has stopped showing, the only way for me to get it to reappear on anything else I start watching next is to manually select something as “watching now”. After doing so the bar will show for the next several movies or tv episodes then the same things will happen again and it will disappear until I again manually trigger it to reappear.
I can understand sometimes maybe there’s a temporary hiccup with scrobbling being accurately reported, but why doesn’t the bar reappear the next time?
FWIW it makes no difference what device I watch something on (Roku tv, iPhone, iPad, Computer, etc) or play it from (Plex servers, remote or local, Kodi, etc) for this issue to remain once the bar has disappeared.
Are there any logs somewhere I can peruse to see if I can figure out where my issue is?
Well I’ve tried reinstalling the apps on my iPhone and iPad. Cleared cache on my computer.
I’ve reinstalled the webhook for Plex.
I’ve rebooted all my servers.
All to no effect. The only way I can get Trakt to see I’m watching something every day is to manually check in thus defeating the whole purpose of paying for VIP.
I’m on the latest Beta version (updated today). Wasn’t working on prior most recent public version either.
As stated I’ve already rebooted PMS
As stated I’ve already deleted and re-entered the webhook (and restarted the PMS again)
FWIW it doesn’t seem to be a bug on the Plex side as I created a webhook (using webhook.site) to log all notifications sent by PMS and I can clearly see the activity being sent. It’s just not being recorded by Trakt.
