Right now Trakt has CSV Export options at multiple places.
It’d be great to have a “one click and export all CSV offered by Trakt” option in the settings.
PS: I know about the GDPR Export option.

What do you mean by all CSV? Every season of every show you watched?
They mean export history, ratings, collection, lists and notes. Everything that has the export to csv option. Instead of navigating to all those pages individually.
That can easily be thousands of items. Mine is definitely in the tens of thousands.
This just isn’t feasible for it to be one click.
I didn’t say that. I just answered your question about what they most likely meant
@lifeiscrazy
That can easily be thousands of items.
Thousands? How? Do you mean items within the CSV?
If that’s the case, doesn’t GDPR Export do the same but in JSON?
Right now I’m using TraktRater which does the same thing but currently missing things like Notes, etc.
Every CSV export option implies every season of every show, which again get easily get into the thousands.
All I’m asking is to have a single Export to CSV button instead of having multiple ones at multiple locations.
Ok so back to my first question, what do you mean? Because again everything can include a lot as I just explained.
Not feasible. Too much processing and Trakt would likely have to buy a couple dedicated processors just to handle the load.
I’m talking about combining the CSV Export option on every page into one. https://i.imgur.com/QYUrnzt.jpeg
Even though the functionality is present but just split out at different locations?
Even though the TraktRater app does the same thing using the Trakt API?
Once a month I visit every page to export the data as CSV how different is that from me clicking a single button to get all the CSVs?
If you’re doing this regularly, why aren’t you just running a scheduled Trakt backup? It’s pretty easy to convert json to csv using Excel Power Query.
@jluftman
A native one-click would still be a better option.
Yet again, the functionality is already there. They just need to combine it into a single button.
I know I might be getting annoying, asking it again and again but is it that much of a tall ask?
It’s just users commenting and giving alternative suggestions.
Wait for staff to come along
i never use the export feature myself and i can see the benefit of what you’re asking. I think everyone else is misunderstanding your suggestion, thinking that it would export literally everything at once. what i believe you’re asking for is a consolidated place to find the export options, which like i said would be great even though i don’t use it. Consolidating options into one location is always a good thing for UX.
Unless I’m mistaken is that what you’re asking?
Yep! I’m not asking to add anything in “what needs to be exported”.
Trakt has CSV Export option in many places, like this https://i.imgur.com/QYUrnzt.jpeg, all I’m asking for is to have a consolidated one in the settings.
Click ones and all the CSV files that Trakt can export currently will get exported at ones in a zip file.
