I added a counter for how many characters remaining. The limit is currently 500 so the UI doesn’t break with super long notes. I’m open to increasing the limit, but would need to likely cap how many characters are displayed in the tooltips.

But I am writing to you, because TODAY I couldn’t wrote any personal note, because unexpected error shows up. And didn’t save anything I wrote. I try it again and again, nothing. Don’t know what’s wrong.

Right now am using Notes to have the right overview since trakt cant handle other languages then english.

Will there be a toolbar for that in the future?
So I can choose bold, italics, etc. easily like in MSword without having to remember the codes for that?

If I can find a good, lightweight markdown editor then yes. I’ve looked before and didn’t find anything that fit in well yet.

Is there coming an update soon?
iOS build 1.14 (556) has support for notes everywhere except Favorites (will be added soon). Android will get the same updates in the near future.
Hi, just wanted to mention, that the & symbol within a private note is not shown correctly on the iOS app. Website is without problems.

Android build 99 (1.3) has support for notes to match the iOS app.
Love notes! Is it possible to increase the length of notes to greater than 500 characters? Maybe add a vertical scrollbar to a note if it exceeds a certain length if it helps to not break the UI? Or you click a “show more” option on the note, which pops the note out into an overlay or seperate window that shows the full note. I just feel 500 is a bit restrictive.

Yeah. I suggested it before, so I wanted to stop by and mention it again. It would be a hell of a feature (at least for us VIP) to have longer options to write down our thoughts. I don’t want to post a public comments, but I want to have a reason behind every rating I made in Notes. It’s the best thing that happened here in a long time. Please look into it and make it at least 1000 characters. It would change a lot.
