Comments are a nice way to leave a public review for show or movie, but what if you want something more personal? Media item notes are private to you and open ended to write whatever you want. User activity notes can be private or public. Trakt VIP members can write notes throughout the Trakt website and official apps.
Media Items
Drop a note on any movie, show, season, episode, or person. Each summary page has an Add Private Notes button just under the overview. Your note gets added right to the page for quick reference later.
Note badges are also added to the top left on any media posters or fanart throughout the website. This is super helpful to always have access to your notes, even when viewing other member profiles.
User Activities
Notes can also be added to any item in your watched history, collection, or ratings. Hover over a poster and you’ll get a button to Add Notes along with privacy and spoiler settings. After adding the note, it will display over the poster and update your notes page.
List Items
Notes can be added to items in your watchlist, favorites, and any personal lists. Click the Manage icon, then click the Notes Icon on any item.
View all your notes in one place
A new notes section is available under your Trakt profile. This displays all media and user activity notes. List item notes are still only displayed on the list itself. You can edit and delete any notes right from this page too.
