Question to Sonply or moderator of trakt

Trakt seems to have erased

[Stargate Origins] -Chatarine, there is a standalone version on ITunes Store.

It Needs to be locked single on trakt.
Here is the imdb link Stargate Origins: Catherine (2018) - IMDb

(Stargate Origins (TV Series 2018-2018) — The Movie Database (TMDB))
Ds not right link since it looks like tmdb have removed it and just have the show, not the movie.

This is how it now looks in trakt

I had to remark it as watched, since i own that in ITunes

As usually tmdb mods are irrational etc. Do you moderatate trakt? If not this question was not for you.

Please be nice, it is helpful to provide context and more info from TMDB.

That was a nice question if he/she is moderator.

Today there were reports on those movies, there were 6 duplicates and none of them had working TMDB IDs. All of them were merged into the TV Show version.
TMDB does not support alternate versions of TV Shows or movies so, in this case, it was originally a TV Show, then it should be added as a TV Show.

Thx Sonply nice ansver, but please keep one the movie one just on trakt server. And lock it, as you see in that tread that previous replay so kindly pointed out.
The series are no longer available to see, but the movie chaterine are. On several services, ITunes, etc

And i hope trakt is not as narrow minded as tmdb
Best regards Stefan

I see you have NOW intregated them Into the single show specials, but this seems to be missing

Cant do anything with it,
Replay regarding my latest report on the matter,
It is still showing up in my collection.
Best regards Stefan

Why is it added as a locked season in specials though, @Sonply
It’s exactly a different cut of the original series.

Just because the platform has since been defunct shouldn’t matter?
It’s a different version of the same content, so as long as TMDb doesn’t support it, it should not somehow be added in the special section again?
It’s just another miniseries, just like when they were added as both series and movies on TMDb.

See also other threads about different cuts:

For now, since we already had the movie listed as a special with a lot of plays, we can keep it locked. This way, people who do not want to mark it as a TV show, at least have that option (Since it is a “different version” with new special effects and put together as a movie).
There are a few movie pages locked for being different versions too (Like the LOTR trilogy).

If TMDB ever allows different versions of the same content, we can merge any plays in this special to it’s own page.
