Scrobbing for Apple TV

I’m unsure if Apple as an API or anyway for you to scrub it but I’d love to see it work for Apple TV as if I don’t have the series / movie on my Plex server I will rather purchase it off Apple TV and watch through that.

Is it even possible especially with Apples very closed eco system?

Not really possible since Apple TV is so closed. However, check out this tvOS app which can help automate the process a bit.
