Search: handling of hyphenated titles

I can’t find the movie “Non-Stop” when searching for it as “Non Stop”. Similarly, “spider verse” brings up significantly less items of that franchise than correctly spelling it as “spider-verse”. Especially for people whose first language isn’t English, this seems like an unnecessary barrier, especially since the new search was supposed to be more error-forgiving.

Mostly, both hyphens and spaces seem to be ignored when included in the query so “N-on-Sto-p” or “no nst op“ yield the same results as “Non-Stop” or just “Nonstop”. So, why can’t I find the movie with “Non Stop“ but then I can when adding another space with “Non St op“? Similarly, “Beyond the Spider-Verse” doesn’t show up in the results for “Spider Verse“ but then does for “Spid er Verse”. That doesn’t seem right.

(Needless to say, ideally, the correct spelling should still surface exact matches in the top spots.)
