When I watch a movie I start to see which actors are in it, and which of them have I seen in movies or TV shows I have already watched before.
The problem is that if I have not completely finished the TV show, then it is not a “watched” item.
So if I saw the actor in 30% of the TV show, I wouldn’t notice it on the “Watched” section of the actor. I’d like to know if it’s partly watched, or maybe check if the actor is in the episodes I already watched.
This is a good point, for instance if I pull up Charlie Cox and filter by what I have watched Daredevil does not show up as I have not gotten around to finishing yet. But it is clearly a role that I have watched him in.
I agree, especially since you may have seen every episode they were in, but it won’t appear as watched unless you have seen 100% of the show. I would be fine with it being counted as watched either if you have seen any episode they are in or if you have seen 100% of the episodes they are in. I like using the “watched” to figure out where I recognize someone from, but that doesn’t work unless you have seen every episode of the show.
Since the stats page counts if you have seen any episode they appear in, the ability to do that seems like it is already there.
