I noticed for some new shows I picked up recently that the runetime is always 42 even though it should be round about 30.

I asked TMDB and the throw the ball to you:
The runtime of the episodes are updated and match TMDB’s data, but when the runtime varies, they don’t allow users to add a standard runtime in the show page.
I’ve manually edited the standard runtime of those 3 shows to the average of the episodes.
You can report any shows with that issue on the website and I’ll do the same. For now, this is what we can do.
