Skipped Seasons

I know this is an ongoing question so I’ve searched around in the forums but can’t seem to find a definitive thread…

Is there a way to skip seasons a user knows they are not going to watch but still track other/newer seasons?

The use case goes something like this…
A user starts a show at season 4 and likes it so they start to track it. By the end of season 4 they’re happy but Trakt and other apps start suggesting the user hasn’t seen Seasons 1 - 3, but the user doesn’t want to go back and rewatch these episodes. Is there a way for a user to tell Trakt, “skip” these seasons and don’t recommend them to me? aka: I only want to trakt from my latest episode forward.

Lots of shows that have been around for quite a while or are timely would benefit from this, "This Old House, The Circus, Real Sports, Live From Lincoln Center, and on and on.

Yes, on your progress page, expand to see the seasons then click Ø to hide the seasons. This hidden data is available to apps, but it’s up to them to use it and adjust. The Trakt website and mobile app will adjust the progress and ignore any hidden seasons.

Also if you need to unhide anything just go to…
https://trakt.tv/settings/hidden
and click any item to restore it for that section.
