Solution to tracking new youtube series

Its been said before that with the transition to TMDB many youtube series that arent actual Web Series are lost. a large portion of the shows i watch and track are from YouTube, how are we meant to add these now? the series i am watching is on TVDB but would not be accepted by TMDB at all. If its impossible to track it then that seems like a regression in functionality from when i could add a youtube series from TVDB.

Maybe im missing the solution to this, so please let me know if there is a solution

Bonjour, je viens d’avoir le soucis avec une émission sur Youtube qui a été supprimé par TMDB… Il y a de plus en plus de contenu sur Youtube et c’est vraiment bloquant. Une solution existe ??

Il est possible qu’ils puissent utiliser tvdb au lieu de tmdb, mais le support technique doit le confirmer.

There may be a way for them to utilize tvdb instead of tmdb but support would have to confirm.

@Sonply is the TVDB option a rare case or is it possible for youtube shows?

Hi,
We don’t have the option to import TVDB shows. Since Youtube shows aren’t allowed at TMDB, we cannot import them.
