I have two custom lists that are for my top 100 movies and tv shows. I would like to sort them in a custom order. So if a new movie comes out and I decide it is now my 15th favorite movie of all time it goes in the number 15 spot, number 100 gets removed and the previous numbers 15 through 99 drop down one place.
I googled it and an old forum post said it can be done with a green pencil symbol but I don’t see that anywhere. I just installed the app on my phone and it seems to have a few extra options than the website but not to sort manually.
Seems like something that would be both easy to implement and popular.
Make sure you’re using the main website (not the Lite version, app, or V3 or whatever it’s called). If you are on trakt.tv you should see the green icon like this:
Seems like that was it. For some reason a google search lead me to app.trakt.tv. Which is very bare bones and very awkward to use. And even though it says “app” it has far less features than the app I installed on my phone. Thanks.
And if anyone is interested, I figured out how to do it on your phone. It doesn’t have the green pencil symbol but if you tap on the three dot drop down menu in the top right and choose “Edit Items” you can drag entries up or down to rearrange them, then tap “Done” then tap the three dot menu again and choose “Set Current Order As Rank.”
