There is a problem with Trakt not recognizing that the great british bake off has 15 series not 8, can this be fixed?
That’s not Trakt’s fault, but TMDb since that is where Trakt imports the information from. TMDb insists that, because it moved channels, it became a new series and have it listed as such. It’s just how their site works and no amount of arguing with them will change that. I tried with another series, even got a reply for them from Ch4, and it made no difference where TMDb is concerned

Yup as the person above me said, Seasons 1-7 were aired on BBC, and 8-15 on C4, this will always be deemed as a new show by TMDB when changing networks.
