PLEX is invaluable for tv addicts, I would struggle without it. I organise TRAKT as 4 windows. previous week, present week, watchlist and progress.
Why do some shows, episodes in the Watchlist dissapear when watched but never appear in the progress window. For example;
Orphan Black Echoes, Masters of the Air, Constellation ?

It is normal behavior to disappear off the watchlist. Have you hidden the shows from your progress?
Thankyou for your response. I am aware that it is normal for titles to disappear from the watchlist. Masters of the Air individual episodes are added to the watchlist but never show up in the progress window. This happens to several other titles. would appreciate any insights.
Assuming you have the setting on to include watchlisted shows in progress, the show itself would need to be on the watchlist. Not individual episodes. Maybe that’s the issue?
Sounds like the shows you’re referring to are all currently airing. I’m pretty sure that if you watch up to the current episode, so that there are no new episodes available, the show will disappear from your progress. Maybe that’s what you’re seeing?

Turns out that my filter settings were the problem. I had it set to ‘Completed’ rather than ‘Show all’. So far, so good all appears ok.
