TMDB for Anime is Idiotic

TMDB seems it will never change it’s idiotic rule that if a show reports sequencial number it will be placed all into one season. EVEN IF IT REPORTS SEASONS.

The mod from TMDB raze464 seems to be a stubbon idiot. He does this to animes like Re:Zero STORY|TVアニメ『Re:ゼロから始める異世界生活』オフィシャルサイト even if it has listed seasons but then breaks his OWN RULE for shows like One Piece One Piece (TV Series 1999- ) — The Movie Database (TMDB) where he has seasons and sequencial numbers.

Please this has been a requested problem for years and multiple times. Get in contact with TMDB to change their Anime Bible rules or change DBs for anime.

Justin replied to this one 2 years ago and said it was an issue but nothing has been done!!:

That’s not true though. It’s on some list to merged with a tool or in the backend eventually. But that lost has been going on for years sadly.

Yes i’ve heard this awell.
HAHA, imagine using the new trakt lite for One Piece once it’s merged.
You’d be scrolling to the right for 10 minutes.
To see how that feels go to Sazae-san: Trakt Lite

This has been discussed repeatedly - there’s simply nothing Trakt can do about it for now, they have no control over TMDB’s (stupid, I agree) decisions.

The only solution we have for now is to use alternate orders (which are curiously only available on the website). For Re:Zero see Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-: Seasons - Trakt.

This is correct. Unfortunately there isn’t anything we can do about it due to TMDB’s rules. The alternate orders are the solution for now.
