I just noticed that Trakt has been recording the incorrect times for media that I have marked as watched. It seems to be recording a time of 5 hours after the time I marked that I watched. This happens whether I click just finished or I insert the time I watched it manually. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
Have you checked if your timezone is correct in your settings?

Please also verify the time zone is set correctly on the device you’re using. If that is incorrect, it could explain the time adjusting to be 5 hours off.
I had that problem once. I left my VPN running for too long with a UK IP address and it changed the time on the device - was fun fixing it too!

Thanks for the reply. I think you are on to something. I do often use a VPN. I don’t see why that should change anything though since I have my time zone manually set in settings.
Do you use any privacy tweaks for Firefox? geo.enabled or privacy.resistFingerprinting - I think one of those forces UTC as the time zone
Yes. You are correct. I just came back to mention that I found the culprit. It doesn’t have anything to do with Trakt. I recently enabled privacy.resistFingerprinting in Firefox and it makes websites think I am in a different time zone. I wasn’t aware that it caused websites to see me in a different time zone when I enabled it.
