Summary: I haven’t made any changes to my system yet my trakt “collection” (now library) no longer is reflecting new items that I am collecting into Kodi.
Steps:
(1) Install trakt plugin
(2) Ensure that sync (one way, from Kodi to Trakt) is enabled with add new items to library checked
(3) Add items to Kodi
(4) Scan for new items in Kodi
Observed:
Kodi adds item, trakt indicates that it’s syncing, but items don’t actually sync and Trakt does not show newly added items in library.
I’m back on this just to ask if something changed on the Trakt side (vs the Kodi side) that would cause this? My post on the Kodi plugin bug side is gaining traction with several people seeing the same problem. There is a claim over there that a change on Trakt side is making it time out…possible? And if so, can that be reversed?
I am having the same issue as you. This is why I bought the Trakt VIP membership and I can’t get this to work on any build of Kodi with Diggz. I will be canceling my Trakt when it comes up.
Are there any updates on this issue? I can’t see my collection in the official Trakt app, and when I connect other apps like Moviebase or Cinematique, I get a 500 server error. Also, the Trakt Kodi addon is not adding movies to my collection
Any updates here? As my membership comes up for renewal at $60/year I have to ask what the value is. I wasn’t one who lost my mind over the increase but, the sync to my media center is kind of a big deal, losing the feature for weeks isn’t ideal. Updates appreciated.
just for completeness sake. this was also raised on the official trakt api repo and hasn’t seen any updates in over a month. the reason specified (large libraries) is probably not the whole story as it still affected users after trimming it down…
