Exactly, they are locking the existing users from leaving more than anything. This model only supports the existing users and is infact a ploy to keep them forever than add new revenue. Everyone is thinking if I leave, I lose a good deal meanwhile new users are thinking, I can’t join cause this is a bad deal. Pretty shady stuff in order to lock the existing VIP from leaving.
